When I reminisce on the fun times I had working at the Red Hook Initiative, I first think about how it all started. I remember walking into a room filled with unfamiliar faces and expecting myself to feel out of place. But quickly, I and the other Peer Health Educators became friends inside the workplace, and out.

Working here at the Red Hook Initiative has been a blast. The friends I made are fun, my bosses are great, the food is DELICIOUS and I can honestly say that this is the "fun-nest" job I'll probably ever have.

During this ten-week training, I learned A LOT about collaboration and self-awareness. There are so many things that I, as a teen, learned to be cautious of, and it is a great privilege to be able to spread my knowledge not only to other teens, but to the rest of the world.

This experience has been beneficial to my knowledge as well as fun. I've enjoyed every minute or the ten-week program. I was amazed to see that not one person was shy to express themselves and their thoughts. I've enjoyed spending time with my bosses and the other peer health educators that later became my friends.

Well so I won't have all or you just standing here while I go on I just want to thank the teachers for making learning as fun as possible and preparing me for a safer journey through life. I thank my fellow workers for giving me advice when I needed it and making it worth the while.

THANKS!!!!
